ABOUT KRUGER NATIONAL PARK
Kruger National Park is one of the largest and most famous national parks in Africa. It is located in the northeastern part of South Africa, in the provinces of Limpopo and Mpumalanga. The park shares borders with Mozambique to the east and Zimbabwe to the north.
With an area of nearly 2 million hectares (about 7,800 square miles), Kruger National Park is one of the largest game reserves in Africa.
Kruger is home to an incredible diversity of life, with over 500 bird species, 148 mammal species, including the Big Five (lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and buffalo), and a staggering 336 tree species. It has incredible biodiversity and is a hugely popular destination for safaris and wildlife viewing.
The park features different landscapes including mountain ranges, bush plains, tropical forests, and savanna. The renowned Crocodile and Olifants rivers flow through Kruger as well. NIGHTS 1 TO 3 - HIPPO HOLLOW ESTATE
Set amongst lush indigenous gardens on the banks of the Sabie
River outside Hazyview, Hippo Hollow offers stylish accommodation
overlooking picturesque gardens or the mighty Sabie River. Hippo
Hollow is situated just 10km from the Kruger National Park and is
the ideal base from which to access the reserves of the Lowveld and
the attractions of Mpumalanga.
Included in your stay is the delicious full English bu!et breakfast,
which is served at the on-site Hippo Hollow Restaurant. The
restaurant has both a bar and lounge and takes prime spot on the
Estate. Large sliding doors open onto an expansive deck, with views
of the river, where guests can enjoy a variety of delicious dishes
from the à la carte lunch and dinner menus while watching hippos
graze on the lawn.
Hippo Hollow offers many facilities and services that add to the
comfort of your stay. The hotel is set on a beautiful Country Estate
with 2 swimming pools, a dam and a river flowing past. This is an
environment that will leave any nature lover enthralled, and o!ers
the perfect respite after a day of game drives and exploring the
beautiful Lowveld.

NIGHTS 4 TO 6 - NKAMBENI SAFARI CAMP
Nestled in the heart of “Big Five Country” on the
western boundary of the Kruger National Park,
close to the Numbi Gate, lies the Nkambeni Safari
Camp. The lodge is a four hour drive away from
Johannesburg and was conceived by the Nkambeni
Community in an effort to create jobs for the
local people.
The camp is comprised of a limited number of beautifully appointed safari tents, each designed to provide the utmost comfort and luxury while seamlessly blending with the surrounding wilderness. These spacious tents feature elegant interiors with plush bedding, en-suite bathrooms, and private viewing decks, offering guests a front-row seat to the incredible sights and sounds of the bush.
ACCOMMODATION -Nkambeni Safari Camp has 150 comfortable three-star units,
with individual en-suite canvas suites and private decks.
The principles of responsible and community-conscious
tourism are reflected in suites designed and constructed to
guarantee minimum impact on the natural habitat.
DINING - Guests are treated to authentic South African bush dinners
under the stars, around an open fire, or à la carte in the
restaurant. There is a delicious breakfast buffet, an à la carte
lunch menu and set menus for functions.
GAME DRIVES -Half or full-day safaris in the Kruger National Park are
available, in specially designed vehicles that allow closer
interaction with wildlife. Picnic lunches from the restaurant
can be packed on request.
